Starlink is a free smartphone Subaru app for Android and iPhone on all 2015, and some 2013 and 2014 models with navigation
Subaru Starlink now includes Stitcher with news, podcasts and articles on current events, science, technology, sports, culture, music etc.
Starlink will automatically update onto your Starlink app if its on your phone already, or when you next use the app in your car.
To use Stitcher and select the programs you want to listen to, you need to go the stitcher.com website and log in with your facebook or google account or create an email account, and then choose your programs.

MSRP is $26,140 including destination. Add for a normal variety of individual accessories such as the auto dimming rear view mirror, rubber floor mats, rear seatback protector, rear bumper cover, splash guards etc that could be on the cars.

top Recommended Maintenance on the 2015 Crosstrek Replace the hvac cabin air filter behind the glovebox every year or so. Here's a dirty 12 month old filter next to a new clean one . subject to change, correction. corrections welcomed.
Break-in period for the first 1000 miles Don't race the engine, keep RPMs under 4,000 for the most part and vary the speeds with normal city and highway driving. The first oil change is required at 6000 miles or 6 months. Its recommended to check it every few months Always.... Always let a cold engine briefly idle as the oil circulates. Avoid hard acceleration on a cold engine. Check the oil between changes Oil- 0w-20 synthetic oil is required (5.3 qts) Spark plug- NGK SILZKAR7B11 Note new on all 2015 models 1st oil and all subsequent oil change required at or by every 6,000 miles or 6 months. Its a good idea to check the oil between changes. 6 months or 6000 miles is the minimum oil change interval required. Under severe, hard, very cold or very hot weather driving, change it more frequently. (The 2014 oil change interval was 7,500 miles or 7 mos) Oil and filter change: every 6 months or 6,000 miles Cabin air filter every 12mos/12,000 miles Tire rotations: every 6-10,000 miles. Equal tread required at all corners. Tires, wheels FAQ Timing chain all Outbacks have a timing chain - no replacement needed 6,000 miles/6 mos oil and filter change, rotate tires 12,000 miles/12 mos inspection, tire rotation, cabin air filter, 18,000 miles/18 mos oil and filter change, rotate tires 24,000 miles/24 mos inspection, oil and filter change, rotate tires, cabin air filter 30,000 mile replace engine air filters, brake fluid, and gear fluid as needed, oil and filter change, rotate tires 36,000 miles/36 mos oil and filter change, rotate tires, cabin air filter 42,000 miles/42 mos oil and filter change, rotate tires, cabin air filter 48,000 miles/48 mos oil and filter change, rotate tires, cabin air filter 60,000 miles/60 mos repeat 30,000 service, replace spark plugs/wires 90,000 miles/90 mos service with complete fluid, filter change. Inspect all hoses, belts 120,000 miles/120 mos repeat 30,000 service, replace spark plugs 137,500 miles replace Super Coolant Radiator Fluid. The 1st replacement is 11 years, 137,500 miles, or 220,000Km. The 2nd replacement is 6yrs, 75,000 miles CVT Transmission: Life Time CVT oil should not need to be replaced unless driven under hard conditions, towing etc-change every 24,855 miles. This will also be the case if the passenger has moisture on their clothing, such as rain-soaked pants or rain gear. In each of these situations, the airbag status may remain OFF even if a passenger is seated. Everything that is placed on the seat will affect a change in capacitance value. Plastic, metals and other substances, even if at a heavy weight, will not change the OFF status of an airbag. A false electrical charge, for example, those caused by laptops that are processing data, cellphones that are on or even an electric device connected to a car charger can cause the airbag status to switch to ON EDR, Event Data Recorder information. In the event of an impact, the EDR will freeze data including how various systems were operating, for example if seatbelts were buckled, if the gas or brake pedals were pressed, and vehicle speed. No personal data is stored. To read data, special equipment is required. In addition to the vehicle manufacturer (Subaru), other parties such as law enforcement that have the equipment can read the information if they have access to the vehicle or EDR. Eyesight is new for the 2015 Crosstrek This is the first time it has been available on an Impreza or Crosstrek. Its the 3rd generation Eyesight (note- 1st gen Eyesight was never offered in the US) It includes Active cruise control, Lane departure warning, Pre-collision warning and Pre-collision braking. Steering responsive fog lights > Steering responsive fog lights uses steering wheel position to briefly turn on the left or right fog light to illuminate a corner when the vehicle is turned. Headlights in "auto' setting and fog lights off for the system to work. > Active Cruise Control combines the benefits of cruise control with active monitoring of the road ahead. It issues warnings and activates automatic braking when needed. Adaptive Cruise Control can regulate vehicle speed in order to keep a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead. It does not replace conventional cruise control, which can still be used when desired. > Pre-Collision Braking can recognize an impending collision, alert the driver and automatically apply the brakes to help avoid a collision or minimize the impact when a collision is inevitable. > Pre-Collision Brake Assist- If Eyesight recognizes an impending collision and the driver is applying the brakes but not with enough force, Pre-Collision Brake Assist automatically applies up to full braking pressure in order to try to shorten braking distances. > Pre-Collision Throttle Management is designed to help prevent drivers from accelerating into a stopped vehicle or other obstacle in front of them. Eyesight cars have three windshield washer squirters, with the middle one to clean in front of the cameras. The camera’s field of view is about 35 degrees horizontally from the center of the windshield. The camera’s field of vision extends up to about 360 feet in front of the vehicle, but objects very close to the vehicle may not be detected EyeSight works to recognize obstacles up to about a 30-mph (or less) speed differential. Essentially, EyeSight needs time to recognize an object or potential obstacle. If the speed difference between the EyeSight vehicle and the object is greater than up to 30 mph, the object will likely not be detected. Note- do not touch or try to clean the EyeSight camera lenses. Digital radio broadcast signal for improved clarity
The ‘HD’ in ‘HD Radio’ is part of iBiquity Digital’s brand name for its digital AM and FM radio technology.
It does not mean either 'hybrid digital' or 'high definition'.
HD Radio broadcasting is free, there are no fees.
You can get digital AM and FM stations, including HD2 and HD3 multicast channels.
HD is your favorite local AM and FM stations broadcasting digitally, producing improved clean sound.
Radio station subchannels give you more selection
The service includes iTunes Tagging. iTunes Tagging lets you capture information about a song on the radio and store it on your iPod by pushing the "Tag" button on the HD Radio receiver. When your iPod is connected to iTunes, a list of tagged songs will appear which can be purchased.

Ordering a car.
What if the dealer doesn't have what I want?

The supply of Crosstreks is tight and just like with all Imprezas there are more buyers than cars.
Dealers get a limited number of cars each month.
They have an Incoming report and you can put your name on one of the incoming cars.
As a result, many incoming cars will be sold before they arrive.
That means a factory order might be the way to get the exact car and features you want.
Factory orders will be filled from your dealer's normal allocation of Crosstreks,
When first ordered, the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) will probably be a 'month of...' that is around 3-4 months out from the order date.
The order will then be filled as available but it will probably be in the 2-3 month window.
Your dealer can also try to locate or find a suitable car for you at another dealer who is willing to swap Crosstreks.
Be patient, the dealer will want you get your car as quickly as possible.
