the entire Impreza line is all new for 2002, the first complete
re-design since the Impreza was introduced in 1993. The really big news
for is the long anticipated introduction to the US and Canadian markets
of the WRX.

2.2L engine has been discontinued.
All Imprezas now come with the 165hp 2.5L
engine previously used in the Legacy and Forester lines. The cars are slightly
larger and heavier than previous models. Again, the 02 model is completely
re-designed. New interior, new exterior.

seats, power w/l/m, ac, abs brakes, daytime running lights (more below)
