Subaru GT wagon, 1999

Lots of room in the back of a Legacy... here's me sitting in an OutbackCamping? Sleeping in the back? Cargo dimensions?

There's lots of room in the back of a Legacy wagon. Subaru is the #1 selling wagon for a reason....

There's almost 43" from the back of the rear seats.

Enough for the dog,  and more .... like camping ....

68" of flat cargo floor length with the rear seats folded down.

Now I can sleep on that.

Brighton Wagon: Now has right side mirror.

Legacy L Models: Rear seat head-rests (wagons), new interior fabric, overhead map light with sunglass holder, ashtray and lighter included.

Safety: 1998 Legacy airbags have been 'de-powered', meaning they balloon with less force. Production of these starting in September 1997 with the following Vehicle Identification Numbers: Legacy sedan W*204868, Wagons W*307101, Outbacks W*617283, Postal cars W*307141. In conjunction with the new airbags the front seat belt tensioner was re-adjusted so these new airbags are not retrofitable. Always check safety issues with your local dealer.

New for 1999:

The Legacy L is available in a 30th Anniversary model with standard height adjustable driver's seat, electric sunroof, 15" alloy wheels, roof rack (wagon) rear spoiler (sedan), power antenna, color co-ordinated door handles and bodyside moldings, and the 30th Anniversary badge by the left front wheel well.
All this for a net price increase of only $1000. over a non- 30th Ann. model, after a package dicount of $1000. A non-3oth L is a special order (at least here in the NW) and I have only seen one all year!

L model, non 30th Anniversary: available in a very limited quantity to large fleets almost exclusively. Almost all 1999 L models will be the 30th Anniversary model.

Winestone color available on Legacy 30th Anniversay. This is a new more maroon or deep plum color than the current Mica Ruby.
