This year Subaru will donate up to $10,000,000 to the charities. That's double the $5,000,000 donated in each of the previous 5 Share the Love Events
From November 21- January 2, 2014,
Subaru will donate $250 for each new car sold to the buyer's choice from a
group of 6 charities, one of which is a local charity selected by the
dealer.
In each of the past 5 years there have been 5 charities, each receiving $1m when the funds were dispersed, for a total of $5m/year. This year, with increased sales, Subaru will donate up to $10,000,000!

Of the 5 charities selected by Subaru, 3 are returning from previous
years: ASPCA, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Meals On Wheels.
New this year are the National Park Foundation and Teach For America, replacing 2012's USO and Alzheimer's Association.
Plus the new 6th individual dealer selected charity. This is the first time there has been either a 6th, or a dealer selected, charity.
To choose the charity to which $250 will be donated, you will need the VIN for the car you purchased 11/21-1/2, 2014, plus your name, address, email and phone, and the dealership name where you purchased the car.
You can either fill in the form at your dealer and put it in a supplied postage paid envelope and mail to Share The Love, Subaru of America, PO Box 6000, Cherry Hill, NJ, 08034-9771
or go to subaru.com/share, or call 800-SUBARU3.
If you don't select a charity, the unselected amount will be divided among the charities. No you don't get to take the $250 off your taxes.
