Hey all, I'm new to the forum & to Subaru's.
I presently drive a Corolla & due to it's lack of inside room space
along with a lack of handling on snow covered roads,
I'm wanting to acquire my first Subaru.
I've briefly looked on line to see what they offer & the
Forrester ot Outback look good to me.
Is there a benefit over one to the other?

Welcome. Which do you prefer and have you sat in them both long enough to sense the difference?
Since you're in a Corolla, the Forester would be closer in size than the Outback. Same engine, same safety features, even similar models...

I have not sat in either of them, so I'm really in the dark here.
Was just curious if one was really preferred over the other
for any number of reasons?

Forester seems to be built on the smaller Impreza chassis, so overall from comparing the two side by side (Forester and Outback), I went Outback because there was a bit more cargo room behind the rear seats. Beyond that it just depends what your needs are and what you like I think. If you want some zing in your ride, a Forester XT could be the ticket.
