Hey... I'm a super-noob in the world of subaru's and their performance, so please bear with me... I recently purchased an 02 wrx with a rotated mount turbo and front mount intercooler (yeah, I know; never buy a modded car... Too late now lol) and I'm having trouble identifying the turbo. The only identification I can find on it is a "T" logo with little triangle arrows pointing off all the ends on the T... I've been looking around, and I can't find any WRX turbo's like it, which leads me to believe it wasn't built for the wrx... In addition, it's got an APEXi AVC-R turbo controller, and for some reason it's not giving any boost readings- it just sticks at 0.00. All the other readings it gives- throttle, RPM, Injectors etc. work, and the stock boost gauge reads, and the boost is obvious, so I know it's there... Although I'm only getting about 10 lbs of it, which is strange for such a large turbo. Also, I live in Montana, and I'm having trouble finding a place nearby that can look it over and tune it. Sugestions for anything I've written here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Raulboy

I've done a little research, and I now know the turbo is a Turbonetics... Which is weird because they don't make an 02 wrx turbo... And I'm not sure, but I think I'm actually getting a little more boost than I thought... .10 on the stock gauge is 14.7 lbs, right?

Good researching.
I show for the stock 02 WRX Compression: 8.0:1, Maximum boost: 13.5 PSI
