hello , newbe here
i have a problem with my 2002 outback, the compressor does not want to work
checked the fuse, & relay , any ideas would be greatly apreciated , thanks

Hello. Sorry it's taken a few years to get back to you. If the a/c system is low on refrigerant (i.e. had a leak), the compressor will not come on (as a means to protect the compressor). Some air conditioning compressors have reeds in them as part of the pump, and those can get sticky with age and then it doesn't compress the refrigerant properly anymore.

If by chance you have a 6-cyl (H6) Outback, those of that era had some issues with the a/c compressor rotation/speed sensor.
