 Post subject: 1997 legacy outback alarm bypass

it appears to be a subaru alarm but not from factory. lost only transmitter and can't disarm alarm. has start kill feature which isn't helping either. any suggestions on bypassing this problem?

Hi. Try turning the key in the ignition on-off 3x rapidly, not to start the car, just to 'on' and see if that works.
